Denim is one of my favorite go to's especially when we're talking about running errands or comfort. I love a good jean or jumpsuit, and this belted denim dress from Femme Luxe is that perfect compromise for the summer. The puffy sleeves and military pockets add a fun and dressy touch so I choose to dress it down with my silver bow platform slides and matching silver Cherné Altoivse accessories of course! 

The fit on this dress is pretty true to size when you the follow sizing chart. My general rule for uk brands or fast fashion in general is to go up a size in anything with buttons or zippers. I could have used a little more give in the hip area but I'm sure the more times I wear it, the more it will give just like any other stretch denim. I'm also a pretty tall girl, 5'8" to be exact, so sleeve and over all length is important to me with anything I wear. And although this dress is short I love that it isn't too short for me to also wear with heels. All the pockets on this dress are real so I know every girl can appreciate a good dress or skirt with pockets. I found myself using the front two pockets off and on all day the most for my phone because it's literally the perfect fit. 

​Overall the dress is something I would definitely recommend and one that I can not wait to wear again especially with heels to a cute event or in the fall with tights and cognac leather accessories, (ugh can you tell fall is my favorite season? lol). I would also recommend going up a size or maybe even two if you're hippy like me because you can always switch out the belt for a  better cinch at the waist. 

Last but not least, ​I love how accessories can make or break your outfit so because I already have a big sleeve I chose to wear simple layering necklaces and my favorite spiked hoops for an added punch. Statement necklaces are always a favorite but let's be real in the summer or hotter days, no one wants a bunch of stuff hanging around their neck so wrapped my royal rebel necklace around my ankle for the perfect double layered anklet! This necklace closes with a toggle clasp so on one end other charms or pendants can also be easily slid one or off for a different look. Tell us what you think about this look below!
